holidays here we come...

To make sure Mavis is adequately prepared for the holidays and all that come with them...I decided it was time for her to get acquainted with the kitchen:) Today we baked some delicious chocolate chip cookies and she seems like she will be a natural cook! check it out...

We had some great friends come into town this weekend and have been enjoying some good ol' Atlanta fun. Here are some pics of our time at the zoo. It was Boo Zoo this weekend, which means trick or treating at the zoo. Check out the best buds and all the fun they have together.

Fall is here...

The weather is perfect right now for being outdoors. We are trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Mavis and I spent a morning at the park this week. Check out our growing girl. She does the slide all by herself now:)

Growing up...

Mave is growing so fast. Here she is enjoying some playtime with her purse and lipstick. Naturally, Mavis is a girly girl. Nothing her momma had anything to do with, I'm sure:) She loves putting on make-up, wearing her bows, and of course, taking care of her babies. She has so many and each gets tender loving care. She certainly has a soft heart when it comes to her little ones. If she drops one, she immediately picks it up and says, " Awww, baby, are you okay?" and plants a big smooch on it's boo boo. She diligently takes them to potty, cleans their hands and strolls them around for a "walk." She is such a joy to watch as she continues to develop. Her newest thing is singing constantly. Now she is replacing the words to all the songs she knows, like Twinkle Twinkle and Old McDonald with new words. I love to hear her creating and pretending. Look for more posts she continues to grow...

Mavis Turns Two!!!!

Saturday we celebrated sweet Mavis with a Dora the Explorer party! She had such a great time with all her family, her cousin Zoey and a few close friends! She got tons of wonderful things and was a little overwhelmed. We are still pulling out things slowly and will probably save some stuff for a little later!! Right now she loves her new baby that suck a passy and her new kitchen! She is cooking up a storm in between feedings:) already a momma!! Here are a few pics from the day and from some playtime afterwards.

Wilmington...

We got back from Wilmington, NC last week for my best friend's bridal shower. We had a great time staying with friends, hitting the beach and loading up on Port City Java coffee:) Enjoy these pics of little Mave. She had a blast with one of her best buds, Layla.
