the world of wakesurfing!

My husband has discovered his new favorite sport! Wakesurfing. This way he can surf...which he loves...all year long, or at least all summer long when he's not at the beach! take a look! He was really good! You actually surf behind a boat on its' wake. You start with the rope in your hand just like skiing, and then toss it and are able to surf without anything but you and the board. pretty cool.

Summer Lovin'

We have kicked off the summer and it's officially in full swing! We had family come to visit for my Golden 27th Birthday! Then we made our way down to Lake Blackshear for the Memorial Day holiday. It was a great time with family to relax and soak up the sun. There is a lot to share so fold on to your hats! Keep checking for summertime updates!

Bikini Baby!

Yes...yes...it's true! Mavis has an adorable bikini (thank you donna and scott!) and she was looking fabulous at the pool this weekend! We took her to the pool in our neighborhood and just had to snap some pics! Her tummy is SO round! So you can imagine how perfect it looks in this little bathing suit! It's going to be a great summer ladies and gentlemen..a great summer!

Pep Talk!

Courtney graciously agreed to speak at our church on Wednesday and Thursday night for our student ministry! I have never seen our middle-schoolers so well behaved! She told them about some of the amazing adventures she has had over this past year and beautifully turned it into a pep talk getting them ready for their mission trips this summer. It was amazing and further convinced me she has speaking in her future! check it out:)

Courtney comes to town...

My sweet friend Courtney came to town last week. I hadn't seen her in a year and we were so glad to have her with us. She has been traveling around the world for a year and has just come home. This was here first time meeting Mavis and we had a blast. We relaxed, did hair, shopped. It was great. Here are a few pictures of her with Mavis. Enjoy!

My First Mother's Day

It is a beautiful day here in Atlanta and the Lord continues to bless me daily with the sweetest family! My precious husband treated my like a queen today. It is wonderful to be a mom! Here are some pictures taken on our first mother's day.

We believe in arranged marriages in the Sumner house. So, here he is. The pick of the litter. They were destined even before birth. And with names like Miles and Mavis, you know it has to be. Here they are having some fun playtime together. Miles sure does make Mavis laugh! She is already falling for him!
We had a great time with Miles and his mom, Jessica last week. We can't wait to be together again!
